A warm mid brown walnut-look decor with a soft, quiet figure rather than a dead-flat grain, for a job that wants the colour and gentle movement of walnut with none of a natural log's variation.
Walnut Rapture is the lightest and most chromatic of the walnut-look decors, reading warmer than Corsican Walnut and Intense Cocoa, which are browner and flatter by comparison. Unlike the fine straight grain much of the range carries, the face shows a soft figure with gentle vertical movement, a quiet cathedral drift rather than a feature grain. The pattern is sliced, dyed, re-laid and re-sliced rather than grown, which is why colour holds sheet to sheet and across a staged delivery in a way no natural log can.
Supplied in 3100 × 640 leaves.
