Smoked Australian eucalypt, crown cut: a deep grey-brown fumed through the timber, with soft crown figure.
The colour is applied by fuming, which deepens the eucalypt to a dark grey-brown. Smoked timber keeps its natural irregularity, so expect streaks and variation between leaves.
Fumed colour is a treatment, so match a continuing job to the original order. Leaves are generally available from 2500 to 3600 mm long. 3600 mm is always in short supply and needs its availability checked before it is specified. Natural timber, so it never repeats and colour and figure vary log to log: match a continuing job to the original order rather than to this page.
