A warm mid-brown oak-look decor with a straight, linear grain and clearly drawn grain lines: the mid tone between the pale decors and the dark ones, where a job wants timber to read as timber without going dark.
Meridian carries a warm, golden cast, close to Verdi in hue but considerably darker, and a long way from the grey-brown of Morrocan Husk. The grain is straight and evenly spaced but reads more strongly than the pale decors, so it holds its pattern at a distance. The pattern is sliced, dyed, re-laid and re-sliced rather than grown, which is why colour holds sheet to sheet and across a staged delivery in a way no natural log can.
Supplied in 3100 × 640 leaves.
