A dark, neutral grey-brown decor with a fine, straight, closely spaced grain and little figure: for a job after a quiet dark backdrop with a dependable colour.
Luca reads far cooler than the warm, red and copper group it is listed under. It sits much closer to Morrocan Husk and Titan in both depth and colour. The grain is fine and straight with among the lowest contrast in the range, so it holds a quiet, even look over a large area. The pattern is sliced, dyed, re-laid and re-sliced rather than grown, which is why colour holds sheet to sheet and across a staged delivery in a way no natural log can.
Supplied in 3100 × 640 leaves.
