A near-black decor with a bold, open grain picked out in silver-white flecks: a dramatic feature face for a job that wants dark timber with real sparkle.
Galaxy is the most dramatic of the near-black decors, with a strongly drawn open grain and light flecking that catches the light. Ventech groups it with Ebon and Black Gold, though it is far busier than either. The pattern is sliced, dyed, re-laid and re-sliced rather than grown, which is why colour holds sheet to sheet and across a staged delivery in a way no natural log can.
Supplied in 3100 × 640 leaves.
