An Australian eucalypt, quarter cut: a pale, fine, straight-grained face in soft blond with little contrast.
The quarter cut gives calm, parallel lines across the leaf. Ventech lists this as a general eucalypt quarter rather than one named species, so no single botanical name is quoted.
Leaves are generally available from 2500 to 3600 mm long. 3600 mm is always in short supply and needs its availability checked before it is specified. Natural timber, so it never repeats and colour and figure vary log to log: match a continuing job to the original order rather than to this page.
