A pommele eucalypt: a dense pattern of small bubbled figures across a rich pinkish-brown ground, like quilted or cobbled timber. A dramatic feature face.
Pommele figure forms as clustered, rounded blisters that give the leaf a three-dimensional, quilted look. Every leaf is different. Ventech lists this as a general pommele eucalypt rather than one named species.
Leaves are generally available from 2500 to 3600 mm long. 3600 mm is always in short supply and needs its availability checked before it is specified. Natural timber, so it never repeats and colour and figure vary log to log: match a continuing job to the original order rather than to this page.
