A mid grey-brown with a straight, open oak-look grain: the answer when a job wants grey timber that still reads as timber rather than as paint.
Eclipse is a genuinely warm grey rather than a neutral one. The grain is straight and linear with distinct pore lines running the length of the leaf, an oak-look pattern rather than the featureless fine grain much of the range carries. Ventech groups it with the grey, cool and monochrome decors. The pattern is sliced, dyed, re-laid and re-sliced rather than grown, which is why colour holds sheet to sheet and across a staged delivery in a way no natural log can.
Supplied in 3100 × 640 leaves.
